Between 1997 and 2005 my focus was on large scale installations. I don't feel that I abandoned painting because the pieces I made were materially very "Painty". However, after the exhibition "Morbid Anatomy" (2005) I felt a very strong desire to return to painting in a more traditional sense. The work is transitional. In 2008 I began "Foldy Booking" and after that the narrative thrust became more apparent.
