The Foldy Panopticon of the Apocalypse (FPotA) is an interactive multimedia panoramic painting. My intent with this project is to create a complex installation that is self-contained and portable. The purpose of the FPotA is to combine my imagery with gameplay – the viewer makes choices through interaction (push a button, trigger a sensor…) which generates a unique experience. The goal of this experience is to transmute apocalyptic angst to positive action.

This year has been unlike any I can remember: a pandemic layered over the looming climate emergency, inequality and social injustice. Now is the time for The Foldy Panopticon of the Apocalypse.

FPotA is in production and will be unleashed on the world in late 2021.
